On 23 March 2018, the Joint Monitoring Committee decided to change the deadline for submission of project proposals under the second call of the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme, offering to the project developers an additional 3 weeks’ time to prepare and to write project proposals. Analysing the arguments expressed at regional cross-border level, as well as the aspiration to have successful project proposals, the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme decided to set the date of 24 April 2018, 4 PM EET, as a new deadline for the submission of Romanian-Serbian cross-border projects. The proposals will be submitted exclusively on-line by accessing the e-MS portal: http://ems-rors.mdrap.ro The decision to extend the project submission period from 30 March 2018 to 24 April 2018 is based on the requests of several potential beneficiaries from both countries, Romanian-Serbian cross-border project developers who are seeking to create quality projects. After the launching of the second call for proposals, the implementing authorities organized several workshops and presentations in Romania and Serbia, which were relevant for project developers, as educational institutions, hospitals, NGO`s and local/regional public authorities. The implementing authorities will continue to provide all the necessary support to those interested, providing a Help-Desk information service, opened within the Joint Secretariat of the Regional Office for Cross-border Cooperation Timisoara. The amount allocated for this call for proposals is about 20 million Euros. The potential beneficiaries, as well as anyone interested in the Romanian-Serbian cross-border cooperation, can get more information by accessing the Programme website at www.romania-serbia.net
