The Joint Secretariat within the Regional Office for Cross-border Cooperation Timisoara will organize in the following period four Partner Search Forum events in Romania and Serbia for the promotion and support to the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme. The European Commission approved the Programme on 6th of August 2015. The first call for proposals will be launched on the 15th of September 2015 and it will have a budget of 50 million euro, of which 22 million euro will be dedicated to strategic projects. The deadline for submitting project proposals is the 15th of January 2016 and for strategic project proposals, it is the 15th of March 2016. The two Applicant’s Guides were approved on the 14th of August 2015 and can be accessed via the programme’s website www.romania-serbia.net
By organizing Partner Search Forum events, the Joint Secretariat is promoting the partnership opportunities for Romanian and Serbian potential applicants. They will be able to identify new partners and develop projects in order to submit them by the deadline. In each event, in the first part, the RO CBC Timisoara team will present the specificities of the programme and one priority axis. In the second part of the event, we will host bilateral meetings between Romanian and Serbian potential applicants, sustained by the RO CBC Timisoara team as facilitators, by answering questions related to the call.
Among the potential applicants of the Programme are: regional and local public authorities (County Councils, Local Councils and Municipalities, etc.); national / provincial / regional public authorities functioning in the eligible area; other public bodies governed by public law (prefectures, health care institutions, educational institutions); offices–branches of National/Regional Public Authorities active on the themes of the priority in the eligible area (registered and functioning in the eligible area); non – profit bodies and NGOs; religious organizations, legally established according to the national legislation in force; chambers of commerce; museums, cultural, sports, touristic institutions etc.

4. PSF 4 on Priority axis 4: Attractiveness for sustainable tourism
