On July 14th 2016, the Audit Authority within the Romanian Court of Accounts released the final audit report designating the authorities for the Interreg IPA CBC Romania-Serbia Programme. Thus, the Romanian Ministry for Regional Development and Public Administration is designated as Managing Authority, carrying out also the functions of the Certifying Authority, and the Serbian EU Integration Office is designated as National Authority.
Interreg IPA CBC Romania-Serbia Programme becomes the first IPA CBC programme to have completed the designation process and now all the resources and efforts will focus on the implementation of projects.
The Programme continues financing the cross-border cooperation on the Romanian-Serbian border area through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II), with support from the European Union and the governments of the two countries.
