The event falls within the communication initiative conducted in all EU countries and neighboring countries, benefiting from territorial cooperation programs to promote cooperation between local communities in the border areas.
In 2016 Drobeta Turnu Severin was chosen as host, because it is a city at the confluence of the Romanian and Serbian culture, a veritable cultural bridge between Romania and Serbia. The first event of this kind was held in Timisoara (Romania) and next ones in Vrsac (Serbia), Resita (Romania), Veliko Gradiste(Serbia).
