On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, the Joint Working Group for the 2021-2027 programming period approved the final version of the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme, to be submitted to the European Commission after approval by the governments of the two participating states.
With a total budget of 87.725.681 Euros, of which 74.566.827 Euros are EU funds, the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme 2021-2027 will finance projects on environmental protection and adaptation to climate change, health and education, tourism and culture, but also projects dedicated to border management.
In order to ensure a transparent framework for institutional collaboration, starting with October 2019, the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDPWA) organized consultations with key actors in the Programme area and posted on the programme website all related documents the programming process, for public consultation.
