Drobeta Turnu Severin City Hall in partnership with Kladovo Municipality implements the `Monitoring and control system of the physical, chemical and biological parameters of the Danube River in the area of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania) and Kladovo (Serbia) for a better quality of the water` cross-border project, financed under the Romania – Republic of Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme.

The project aims to improve the life quality in the Romanian-Serbian cross-border area and the next 24 month effort of Severin Municipality will offer to the local community the possibility to take advantage of a new system for monitoring and control of Danube water.

Within the project, on the Romanian side of the Danube, will be installed an integrated complex system for monitoring the quality
